Initially I was going to write about some of the heads lines in the news that are dealing with immigration like the presidente saying that he won't get around to that until 2010 and then Janet Napolitano talking about the enforcement of laws in place WAY before the Bush admin. I also read something about how undocumented residents are NOT going to be included in the ongoing health reform in the U.S. that reminds me of a past post I wrote and how the world is really going to hell in a hand basket. I think about all of this and the thoughts of seeing my family again after seeing them last year over power everything else. Family is sometimes the only the we have in the world that is unconditional.
Unconditional love is what the world needs more of really. It's sad to see the world and society every time I step foot outside the door of my friends house. Yet, even in his house, everything wrong in the world still finds a way to creep in. Times like these I wish I was more oblivious and ignorant as to what is happening in the world. All the suffering in Juarez, Africa, in the middle east every where. It never stops. Dwelling on it doesn't help either because it just makes you feel even more helpless. Damn this is turning into a really depressing post, yet that's some of the stuff that has been in the back of my mind as of late. It all goes away when I'm with my gf. We never did end up breaking up hahah I just over reacted to a talk we had. After talking some more we talked things out. I love being with someone who is older. Kids are too immature.
Okay, so the point of this post was to ask anyone who is reading this, legal resident or not, to chime in with their experiences traveling whether on land, sea and air. I'm going home through the train because it gives me a whole day to think about things and enjoy some scenery. Cost about the same as a plane ticket but flying is tricky for us undocumented residents. It's do able but high risk. So if anyone reading this has some info on how to travel through the air please let me know. I appreciate the help. We now resume your regularly scheduled blog-cast.
